Hi First-Gen Camaro Experts -
I'm trying to identify/get a GM part number for a rubber stopper that the pedal on the parking brake assembly hits up against when the handle is pulled to release. It also keeps the pedal from coming up to high. I have a 1968 Camaro base model 327/210 2bbl with a standard interior and May 1968 production date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. gwp4

As far as I can see, there isn't one. At least not shown in any of the Parts manuals. I checked mine and don't see any kind of bumper either. The only thing the manuals show is a bumper for the 64-65 Chevelle, Group 4.603, P/N 3846500 - Bumper, Parking Brake.
If there WAS one used on the Camaro, it wasn't serviced separately.

Not sure if any of these would be close enough to work with, but you're probably going to need to adapt or fabricate something. If you won the lottery there's a NOS 67-68 assembly on eBay for $800.
