Title: 1969 disc brake dust shield and caliper bracket part number question

Did original 1969 disc brake dust shields and caliper brackets have part numbers stamped in them?  I purchased a original disc brake setup and it has no part numbers stamped in either the dust shields or caliper brackets.  I've seen caliper brackets and dust shields with part numbers stamped in them.  The julian date is 304 on the calipers so it's a late 1969 date.

Both caliper brackets and rotor shields had part numbers stamped into them. Your caliper could also be a late 1968 casting date.
