04C build with an X33D80 body tag. Be sure to check out the diverter valve stamping.

Funny - item description says black exterior - I must have gone color blind.
GF is a little over-the-top, at least it has a smog system for the crossram emissions. Owner remorse for installing a crossram was to add the smog back on the car ? Really ?
Love these sellers -

It must be a Z28, DZ is written in crayon on the drivers head!
-
Has the rare hood hinge springs delete option. Signs of serious pitting around the t tag and lower A arms. Must have been a rust bucket.
-
It has a fiberglass cross-ram hood with prop rod, likely repro. But, no hood pins.
-
I agree with the comments regarding the tag being a repro, and the pitting around it. The protect-o-plate looks slightly different than my 08C one. What are your thoughts on that?
-
I pay no attention to protect-o-plates. It is possible to perfectly reproduce them on original addressograph machines, using NOS GM plates and folders. It is my understanding the NCRS no longer considers them in judging.

I see your point. Bummer thought I had something special since a couple of my cars came with it...😖

Wow, that car was just done awful. Besides all the forementioned, (which glad you guys wrote, save me the texting)HOW much body fill in that gem?
I cant see that car moving$$
Quintessential can of worms. (Put nicely cause we don't cuss on this site)

Austin, I think most of us do believe it's pretty special if you have original PTPs for your original cars... but a protecto plate is NOT a judged item, and if it's *suspect*, it would not play much of a part in a sale.

I get it. I know the machines are still out there. I wonder how much of that GM tape is still out there to print on.
(Although I have seen originals without the logo on them)
I would still think for an original car that it would to the value. At least I have the window sticker ...(until they start copying those correctly)...😂

How many rolls do you want ? Seen these advertised for years, blank plates with the Bowtie, even Addressograph machines -

I guess I was under the impression, that the tape would have been destroyed, or all used up by now. good link. I sent the seller a question asking why he would provide a product that that helps the fraudsters
