This was spotted on one wheel & the trans crossmember of a 69 coupe. What do they mean? Thank you, Joe

Possibly the final assembly sequence number. Cars were not built in VIN order. Our '67 Z/28 had 258 written in black marker on the inside of the lower grille panel. An easy way to ensure the sub frame was assembled to the proper body.

Sequence # or rotation #.
I believe Fisher used a different # than Chevrolet.
