Title: Factory steering column waring sticker?
Post by: uscrichter on July 31, 2019, 08:23:14 PM
I am in the process of disassembling my '69 Z-28 and was wondering if this warning  sticker was applied by the factory or a dealer? the interior is in great condition so I will leave alone if it was applied at the factory. Thanks in advance!

I can find no mention of this label in the AIM (but that doesn't prove much if the label was attached by the supplier), and I've never seen one of those on any 1969 Camaro, so I'm guessing dealer (or prior owner) applied. But don't remove it just yet! Wait for others to chime in.

I am thinking it was supplied by the insured’s insurance co. Or AAA?

Not a factory label.

Thanks, it was on the column when bought the car in '78 so I wasn't sure, the AAA theory makes sense, but you'd think there would be a logo?

I'd leave it there if it was my car.
