Hi folks,
I bought a nice 68 that has NOS quarters and fenders and was never finished. It came with all the NOS trim and clips and now I’d like to drill the holes properly. Does anyone have a source for the templates, or should I just follow the AIM?
Thanks,
Tony

Tony, are the original quarters and fenders no longer there? If they're still there, I would use them as your guide for where to drill.

Jon, I wish they were but they are not.

Template kits are available from all the major parts retailers.

Yes, but are they correct? I guess I should have asked the question that way.

When I replaced the door skin on my '67 (w/RS) I used a large piece of cardboard from a box to make a template for the wide trim.
Working in reverse by making the holes first, place the trim in the holes then trace the moldings edges and cut. Now you have a workable template.

Dimensions for Tony.
These are from my Norwood 68 RS Z with original never replace quarter panels. Tony has this via email but I thought it might be helpful for others down the road to have it archived here.
