You can also to a picture hosting site like Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/) or Google's Picasa (https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?hl=en_US&continue=https%3A%2F%2Fpicasaweb.google.com%2Flh%2Flogin%3Fcontinue%3Dhttps%253A%252F%252Fpicasaweb.google.com%252Fhome%253Fhl%253Den%2526tab%253Dwq&service=lh2<mpl=gp&passive=true). Both are free and pretty easy to use.
You can then copy the direct IMG code and paste it into your post. Again, you want to keep the size down to 700-800 pixels wide so it fits on the screen without scrolling and so it doesn't take forever to load for people with slower connection.
Also, make sure you crop the picture(s) to show only what needs to be shown.

Paul, when you get tired of it, let me know!! I had to sell my 55 190SL (originally owned by Count Bernadotte of Sweden) as a result of my divorce, so I could use a pick-me-up!!

Ed, sorry to hear about your loss. You know I mean the car... :D
Last Sunday's San Francisco Chronicle "Cars" section featured a 1960 190SL my mom's shop restored a few years ago. What amazed me about Mercedes, we were still able to get a lot of the parts from Mercedes for a 50 year old car!

And they're producing more and more each day! Mercedes recognizes the classic car collector more than just about any other automobile manufacturer in the world. It's amazing the amount of money they're willing to invest in tooling up the old parts for such a small amount of cars (25k for the 190SL and 3k for the 300SL). Yes, they're EXPENSIVE parts, but they're correct! And in most cases, even better than what they were back in the 50's.

Very nice mercedes, I am from the bay area as well, a great climate for preserving cars. I see this post was a couple of years old, do you have this beauty on the road yet?
