Newbie here, still learning. I've gone through some of the search strings and didn't really find an answer, but did 68 Camaros come with a passenger side grab bar? Or was that only factory installed in 69? And just added on by dealers/owners themselves in 68s? I like the look of the grab bar, but when I research purchasing one they all state for 69 Camaros. I see it in the AIM for 1968, but the kits I see for sale all state 69 and have different looking spacers for the back behind the dash than what is in the AIM for 68. Thanks. Shane

IIRC only deluxe interior (Z87 option) and got the dash grab bar.. 68 & 9 are different. Good luck trying to find one as idk anyone repo'ing them.. Maybe they are now but several years ago they were not.

Great information, thank you guys. Good to know. Does anyone have pictures of the difference between the 68 and 69?
