Post by: Mingles905 on December 10, 2016, 03:25:17 PM
Hey guys I was disassembling a 69 327 block and after I was finished and sweeping up and found this piece laying on the ground.  Could anybody tell me what this is or where it came from?   Any insight would be amazing.  Thanks guys!!

Not sure, but it I can't think of anything internal to the engine it could be. What's it made of?

Well by the condition of it i thought it definately couldn't be aninternal part so I decided to get out everything I used to strip the block.  Turns out it was the end piece from one of my ratchets. Even had a new one kicking around to compare.  Ha ha well aside from feeling dumb, at least I know where it came from. Ha ha thanks guys

Mingles..?    Are you any relation to 'Jingles'???  (Jingles was the nickname for Jim Ingles, a relatively famous GM testing engineer - now retired I think).. :)
