I checked every GM reference I have and that number isn't in any of them! However, going by that part number series (38xxxxx), they were used in the early to mid 1960's.

And I hope THIS (http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-GM-SS-Z28-Camaro-L78-Chevelle-Firebird-Nova-Duece-Buick-Olds-GTO-IMPALA-/281601844366?hash=item4190c7248e:g:AOsAAOSwYGFU2ADm&vxp=mtr) isn't you!

Ok, I got a little more info from Joe Lucia (NCRS). Apparently these were used from late 1964 to early 1965 across Chevrolet models and probably other GM car lines as well.

However, 3850950 was never available as a SERVICE part. Kits like this (especially with the kind of package seen in the eBay item referenced above), are never sold in service, so more than likely these would have come in the car for the lot boy to attach when the car was delivered to the dealer.

Let's all give Ed a big hand!    Way to go!  :)

(Helping a questioner and calling out a bad ebayer at the same time!).. :)

And by the way, per the AIMs, the 1967-1969 Camaro "Attachment Unit - License Plate" (Screws and plastic nuts) was P/N 3875313, so the ebay ad is wrong, wrong, wrong.

I wanted to list them to sell but didn't want to misinform anyone and I couldn't find anything on the net..I did have a set of the 3875313 also and was able to find info on them and got them sold. Looks like the guy selling these others just said they are correct for pretty much every car lol.

I love it. So when you have NO CLUE what it fits, put an incredibly STUPID price on it and say it's for a Camaro Z28 (or SS or L78, etc...).

Man, I LOVE ebay!

Ya it's crazy I hate to list something if I can't describe what it fits but if I don't know for sure I usually say do your on research. I have some toy plane kits that have the putting you first logo on them but really can't find enough info to list them for sale

One thing though the package the guy has in the picture is correct. I've had a bunch of these plate parts over the years and that's original packages but his description is misleading
