A while ago someone posted this pic on another forum. I think this indicates a Hugger orange car, V8, black vinyl roof, with a yellow houndstooth interior.
Am I correct?
Does this car exist, and are there pictures or an options list? This is for a model car project for some sort of oddball combination.

That's an odd combo. Don't think I've ever seen that before.

VIN# 124379N700933

Then there was another claim of this color combo in 2007 on a Z/28. The thread fizzled out after a week and it never drew any pics from the thread creator

The Fisher Body number is 22,662 units later than my 10C X11 but the VIN is only approximately 900 later. According to CRG, only 15,325 cars were produced that month. That may or may not be significant but it's quite a spread.

'just like Coke...'.... *Everything (color) goes great with (Hugger Orange)!!*... :)
I'd sure like to see a photo or two of an 'orange/yellow' car.. esp a Z28.. :)

As much as I like the yellow interior I think I'd puke seeing it on an orange car.

There is nothing unusual about that. Number was assigned when the dealer order was confirmed. With the non-approved paint/trim the confirmation may have been delayed. Once it was confirmed it the order was placed in the build schedule.
Not every confirmed order was built. Confirmation numbers were re-set to 100001 early August around VIN N670xxx. Approximately 42,000 Camaros were built after that; confirmation numbers run into the low 160s.

I can't help but wonder what the assembly line workers thought as that car was going together. It had to stop at least a few people and say, "boy you don't see that every day" LOL
Even in the psychedelic 60's that had to be an attention getter. Just needs a mod top ;D

Some people want to be *different*.. :) Just in the last 20 years, I've seen ZR-1's in yellow paint sporting RED and BLUE interiors, and a Blue Car with Red interior... In fact, the most desirable of the 96 Grand Sport Corvettes (Bright Blue car with white skunk stripes) are the ones with the Torch Red interior... :)
