does any body have a picture of a installed reverse switch for a 67. the AIM is not very detailed. I am having trouble with the holes on actuator rod not aligning up.

Here is a picture of mine. It's a Saginaw tranny. I'm having trouble with the shift rod rubbing the side of the switch when i use reverse and shorting out. Apparently there is another set up that mounts a bracket on two bottom bolts of the cover and uses a short rod that attaches to the reverse linkage.

I just ordered the hurst universal switch that mounts on the shifter under the 4th gear stop bolt
. Will let you know how that works if interested

That's the correct configuration used in production - it's shown in detail in the M20 section, sheet A7, View "A" in the 1967 Assembly Manual.
