Title: Late JL8 production build
Post by: jsg1010z on September 02, 2013, 02:16:28 AM
I noticed a Z28 listed on an upcoming Texas auction promoted to be a JL8 and the cowl tag shows a 10 B date.  Is it possible that one was produced this late? Thanks

I am not sure its the same car but one was listed as having the rare rear sway bar. Really?

Sorry it was a 09A car with 10 B paint.  http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=DA0913-165418&entryRow=1051.

So obviously it's not an original JL8 car. It looks to me to be a car that someone built with all the bells and whistles. I'd be surprised if a lot of the options they mention were original.
