anyone know were i can get the assy my 68 has that option but some body installed a console i would like to get back to original

Very hard to find. I've seen one in a car (and have a pic) and a car that someone removed it (is your car now red?) That's it in many years of watching....

I've never seen one in a car, is this a rare option? Camaro Restoration Guide shows the M-11 option was chose 30,192 in 1968. That number seems awfully large for so few to exist. The shifter is not difficult to find in the powerglide version, the turbo 400 shifter is more difficult to find but is attainable, I've never seen the chrome bezel(other than mine)in the 15 years I've owned my car.Notice I said I've never seen one in a car that's because my car is a basket case and was when I got it, should be completed next summer.

When the ebay M11/T400 car was up earlier this year it was discussed on camaros.net. Someone posted a photo of a '67? Mustang shift bezel and it appeared to be the same part.
The thread is still there with the photos. Search M11. The thread is "Super rare 68 Camaro SS".
