Title: Quarter Panel Louvers
Post by: bruce69camaro on January 14, 2013, 12:01:55 PM
Can anyone tell me where I can find a reference to the factory hole locations of the quarter panel louver?

I bought the louvers, made my own template off of the louvers and put the template where I "thought" was the correct location, drilled the holes and the louver didn't fit correctly.

Bad news is, I did this after the car was painted and now I got some enlarged holes that need to be fixed but the good news is, it was only one side. I did a search for the
hole location, but couldn't find anything and I heard the templates are worthless.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Bruce

Thanks Paul...

Very interesting point that 69-er brought up. The top and bottom of the louver I put on, is not perfectly horizontal, but the radius of the louver follows the radius of the wheel well opening.

My quarters are factory items, but the louvers are aftermarket parts.

I'm going to see how close my dimensions are to the one's posted on that other link.

Thank you,

Bruce
