VIN is actually 124379N633137. Car was on ebay back in 2010 by seller texascamaroguys. They advertised it as having 27k original miles, parked since 1976 and non original engine.

The ad says that the floors are great....  so are the rear fenders around the wheel well, and probably the area around the rear glass the major rust areas on such a car?   Are repair panels available for those areas?...  What do you guys think this car is worth?

A 27,000 original mile car with a non-numbering matching engine??   Yeah, right...

the current owner says the engine numbers, including VIN, match..   he says entire drivetrain (engine, trans, rear) are all factory original and *match*..  I've asked for the numbers; he will call me back.   He says the ONLY thing not original or missing is the air cleaner (has a chrome a/c on it.   that has rusted it's been on it so long)..  He says the rust came from the car being stored so long (inside a garage/shed, but with carpet piled over it..  the carpet held moisture against those rusted areas..    He says he paid $25K 2 yrs ago.... and has done nothing but store it and remove the engine/trans since...

Interesting. The original ebay ad in 2010 said the engine was NOM (non original motor) and apart. Either they made the mistake or this guy's wrong. We'd be interested in some engine pictures if you can get them (suffix on the pad and VIN)

Check out the one and only feedback comment (negative) for "texascamaroguys" in response to a Camaro sold back in 2010...

That's the auction number all right!! 270535037606, recorded in the database on 21 Feb, 2010.

Unfortunately the DB doesn't list the buyer, so I can't verify that katygb is the same person as jebboats, but it's not unusual for ebay members to have more than one registered name. A lot of flippers do. One for selling and one for buying.

We know jebboats is out of Dothan, AL, but I don't know how to find out where katygb is out of. Anyone?
