Just received my Shipping Data Report, from NCRS. Some things don't quite add up. (Very Very small town, similar town names near me, conflicting dealership name) Any know what Dealer code 343, and Zone 25 are. It's on my certificate, but wanted other people's opinions'

no results or I did not search correctly.
Paul could have good info for you.

Curios why you think the NCRS report would not be accurate? I haven't heard of anyone having misinformation issues.
-
Keep in mind the report shows the dealer it was shipped to, which is not always the same one that sold it. Dealer trades etc.

Probably some variation or derivative of “Maxton”, don’t know what year your car is but can look at names changes through the years.

Dealer codes change only when the dealership ownership changes.
Zone changes occur whenever the servicing GM/Chevy Parts Warehouses change location.
PS. The Dealer No for the dealership that sold my '69 Camaro is still the same as it was in 1969 (dealership ownership was passed down within the same family), yet the Zone number for that dealer has changed 3 times since 1969!

My report showed dealer code 343 in zone 25
Mcdonald Chevrolet Sales
Nashville, IN.
That city only has a population of 803.
just does'nt seem to add up? could be correct.
-
Maybe contact the town and see if anyone recalls that dealership? I've driven through plenty of very small towns that surprisingly had a car dealership. Back in the day this was probably more common than today.

Thanks, I never would have thought that!

There are plenty of ads for McDonald at that location, I'm just checking on one other thing. I had McDonald Chevrolet at that location as 22-395.
