I added some software to the site that allows for larger pictures to be used - it automatically resizes the pictures and the file. Seems to work pretty well, but if the original photo is really large, the compression may still be larger than the 200kB limit. It will either tell you that or it may show an error.
btw, it automatically downsizes the pictures to 1024 wide x 800 high (or whichever is greater), so that fit on the screen better.
The picture of my car was originally 3393x1973 and was 633kB.

Thanks and nice Camaro!

Well deserved update to the site. Thank you.

T.Y.
Will try it out soon.

Very nice 9’ SS396, Kurt! Is it L78? Hope to post mine soon, 50 year owned, this May 26th, to be exact. Thanks for re-do on pics, now need to learn how to put them on here. God Bless.

Thanks. It's a L35 car - ordered by the Tech Center with JL8 and cowl hood. But the JL8 parts were apparently removed before it was sold - the original owner does not recall them.
-
I thought you had a z28? Thats a nice SS396 tho. Did you find docs that supported it was a tech center vehicle?
Oh ya and thanks for doing the more picture friendly upgrade!!!

I have two cars. RS/Z and the 396 car.
The 396 car has its original POP with the Tech Center stamp and JL8 axle listed. :)
-
Kurt how long have you had that car?
Was it ever in NY?
-
Geesum, I've had it for about 20 years. It's never been in NY.
-
I believe I have seen that car before or one exactly like it, I can’t remember if it was in a show in NY, MD or NC. I thought it was a show in NY many years ago. I remembered the car because I always liked those rims on 69 Camaros.
I took pictures of it. At that time I thought 396’s were extremely rare, I had only seen one other in person and that one was a pace car belonging to Brad McAdam’s

There was this one https://www.camaros.net/threads/69-ss-x22.480824/ over at TC. Hard to say as I'm sure there were several similarly built. Not with cowl induction and JL8 however! :)
