Title: 69 z28 dash, black and yellow wires
Post by: jon69 on September 08, 2009, 01:42:27 PM
Hello,

I have a 69 z28 without factory console and the tach in the dash. I know where all the wires go in the main dash harness except a pair of wires, one is black and the other is yellow. I have to beleive it is for the radio somehow because it's the only thing that doesnt have a plug with the exception of a pair of wires one purple and the other is i think pink? these are (i was told) for the neutral safety switch? the yellow and black seem to be around 18 to 20 gauge and the others maybe 12 gauge.

any help would be great!!

Yellow is the power feed for the radio, and purple is the "start" circuit that goes through the clutch safety switch on the outboard side of the pedal support.
