The more I look at the KE it does not seem to match  the other 5 digits.  I have a 19" LCD flat screen monitor and if I play with the resolution it looks like the 2 arms on the K are different and the E was an F with the bottom line added.

Which cars came with black and which ones came with polished metal. On the average what is the leeway between date of manufacture of belt and build date of car. Also are there a few specific dates or did they always produce them with a bunch of different dates. Thanks.

www.gmpartsdirect.com they are not connected to GM at all but everything they seem to list you can still get from GM. I always call my Chevy dealey just to check on something. Last week i called looking for a turbo 400 dipstick tube for a 69 BB Camaro and asked to see what he could do, he called me back and said still available so I said get me 2 at $11 each.

A set of 69 NOS fenders just  brought $1976 on ebay last nite but did not sell because they did not meet the reserve.

The quarters seem to average about $2500 a pair. I've seen fenders from about $800 to $1300 each. Tail panels seem to be around $800 to $900. I know a local guy that has a pair of fenders and quarters, not sure what he wanted. If your interested let me know and I'll check.

Actually looks like a pretty nice car. $41500 is not an outrageous as long as the #s are real. You could put a woodgrain dash over the blue . I wouldn't mind having it parked in my garage. If your bidding on it goodluck.

Tried to get a pair of front ones today through GM. No more. If you need any get them now. I bet these things will be $1000 a set in no time. I still need an NOS right rear if anybody knows where I can get one.

Was watching the yellow 68 Z28 RS on thursdat night and the announcer pointed out the "caution fan" sticker was incorrect according to Camaros.org. Thought mentioning that and the site was cool.

The rear part of the rod is the same but the front is different. The Z28 rod is angled down and I beleive the big block one is angled out.

Its a little wider and the spring perches do not line up. I do not ever recall seeing rear discs on the 2nd generation Camaros  but the Firebirds deffinately came with them in the late 70s to 81.
