I was wondering if any of the other members on this site have ever been at swap meets in the L.A .Orance County have ever seen any old  license plate frames from Selman Chevrolet? I have a 68 Z from the dealership and when I purchased the car it had a license plate frame that was broken into  pieces down inside the left quarter panel. the dealership is in Orange california today still but do not have any for sale or available.I would be more than happy to pay anyone that was able to locate me one or two of them. I am also wondering if the dealership installed thier nameplates on the rear panel back.

Decoding/Numbers / Re: Where is my POP ?
« on: August 08, 2007, 08:31:49 PM »
I was lucky and found the POP for my 68 Z was on top of the heater control cables under the dash. There was a large piece of my glove box cardboard missing and it must have slipped through the opening at sometime. When I bought the car the original owner did not know were it was but said he had last remembered it in the glove box with some maps and reciepts. He said he probably threw it out while cleaning out the glove box at some time. I was very surprised when I took  the car apart for restoration and came across it. Dreams do come true.Take a good look.

General Discussion / Re: Enclosed trailer
« on: July 12, 2007, 05:23:38 PM »
Thanks Flojoe,I am also wanting the trailer to store one car in beside my shop while aI work on another car. I have no room to add on to my shop so I am thinking a enclosed trailer would give me a couple options.

I also have the 1181 set in my 68 Z and everything works fine. Look for a ground problem and also check were the 2 wires exit the distributor for a short against the dist. body.
