Hi First Gen Camaro Experts -
Does anyone have the correct GM part number for a factory-installed silver zinc/cad left hand door buzzer switch that was on a 1968 Camaro standard base model coupe? I'm looking to purchase an NOS switch to replace an aftermarket one on the car now. Many thanks. gwp4

There is no actual door buzzer. The buzzing is accomplished by back feeding the horn relay. What you are looking for is a horn relay. Hope that helps you search.

Are you looking for the door switch? The courtesy lights will come on when the door is opened. The buzzer only sounds if the key is in the ignition switch.

Here is my Factory Driver Door Jamb Switch; Two pin/prong
My car is apart, and the switch was successfully sent to a plater for Clear Zinc plating. The bayonet plunger was stuck but was able to force apart to allow spring action and proper operation. The Zinc tank plating is a cold process and was NOT harmful to the insulating plastic internals.
Others with Parts books might have PN or repair service item PN, since this was part of the Body Harness and installed by Fischer it is Not Shown in the Factory AIM manual.

WHITE = Dome
BLACK = Ing Sw Key Alert (Horn Relay w/ Buzzer)

That buzzing noise I refer to it as my "car alarm".

original number was 391307 changed to 9662504 left side dome switch.
