Noticed over the last couple of weeks that the forum search function only shows limited and very recent results. However, if I use a search engine (eg Google) with the exact same keywords and the prefix 'site:www.camaros.org' it will show the thread I'm looking for.......
Example: was searching for an old thread about Paragon Reproductions today; searching from within the forum for the keyword 'Paragon' only found today's posts. Google threw up the thread from some years ago that I was looking for.

Tim the small search bar in the upper right; I have found, will only show as you mentioned the most recent usage of the words being searched. BUT if you click on the search tab to the upper left below the "Hello ZLP955" & between "Home Help" and "Profile My Messages" then you will get a greater reach of search results. Also from there you can search even deeper under "advanced search" and include usernames tied to the search criteria.

Thanks Tim & DW! I learned something new.

Thanks Darrell - just wondered why the limited search results from the top right search field? Would think many members are missing out when searching for specific details this way.

Sorry Tim I can't answer that. Most likely its how its coded to do the searches. Personally I would just do away with the "fill in" field search function and just have the tab "search" to select.
