Title: ID this curve neck rad.
Post by: plumL78 on April 05, 2012, 05:37:12 PM
I picked up this rad at the Phillie muscle car parts auction earlier this week. The bars and brackets are like a  camaro bb rad. so  they can be used to build a camaro rad. I would like to know what it really is before I cut it up. The left tank is curved neck and is coded LG . The right tank is coded AF and its a 3 core rad. Thanks  Kerry

It is a 21" not a 23" but the mounting brackets are the same as BB

I have lots of these tank codes but recognize neither of those two codes.

It also looks like it is from an automatic car it has the threaded holes to screw in the auto trans cooling lines.

I think it is a 67 rad because of the round holed 67s had in them on the upper & lower bars. like I said I bought it for the BB mounting brackets a lot cheeper than I can buy the new ones that heart beat sells.  What I find strange about it is its only a 21" BB rad. I tried over at a fire bird sight and didn't get much response there either. Thanks  again  Kerry
