Title: 68 Z28 on eBay, help with originality
Post by: wtexz10 on September 28, 2016, 04:10:43 AM
Ok forum, give me your opinion on the originality of this car. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Camaro-Z28-/322269907026?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4b08c88852:g:QHIAAOSw0UdXrhf3&item=322269907026I

I have a soft spot for 68 Blue Z28's.  I've asked the poster for more documentation and pics of the glove box sticker, cowl tag, and engine stamp.

Thanks,

Well i emailed the seller a couple of days ago, (as I have a soft spot for all first gen Camaros, esp. Z/28). I asked about docs or if Jerry or anyone else of authority has inspected the car, or if he was going to post some pics of the pad stamp. No response. (yet)

He doesn't indicate the car has the born with engine. This car popped up some years ago when we were discussing Z/28 versus 302 emblems. That guy said the original engine was long gone. He also said it was a non-spoiler car. This car one of three 02E Z/28  that I know of. Somebody's done a bunch of work on this car. The headers were questioned somewhere also. You can google the car by it's entire vin. You'll find it's been bounced around since at least 2010 ..Joe
