Most of the 1969 front license plate brackets I have come across were stamped with a C on each side of the bottom of the bracket. Have seen some with no stamping. The small AAC stamping appears on NOS service replacements from what I have seen. Was wondering if anyone has seen the AAC stamping on original brackets or other stampings ? thanks

I know that Guy Youngdell's 12k original car does NOT have the "C" on the ears. I can ask him to look behind the plate if you wish. That car is all original. Benny's car has the "C"...Joe

Thanks - Benny's car is one I have seen and use as reference.

Two examples of original, unstamped brackets (MCACN Vintage Certification):

Guy just gave me the results of his findings. Silver 375hp car has AAC. He know of 3 NOS. 2 have AAC. 1 has nothing. He has 1 other used that has AAC. I have 1 used that has the "C"s & the NOS 1 that I bought in 1981 for my car has AAC...Joe

I have one that is NOS that I had to strip and look very, very hard to finally see a faint AAC. There is no way I would have even know it was there if I hadn't read this thread and seen the normal location. I just about gave up that a stamp was even there.
