The plastic line will work with a nut replacement, but it needs the internal line sleeve per the manufacturer.
The nut/cone pinches down on the line.

 Can't reuse the 1/8" double compression threaded sleeve nut 5/16-24, once the cone end is compressed its toast. However the block fitting is unique and not available, it is reusable.
New ones are available here online; http://www.fastfittings.com/search?searchwords=22008&searchsmall_5487389=Search
Sleeve number 22008 and fitting 16001 for $2 a piece.

Here's what I found:
The male style fitting is called a 1/8" double compression fitting. Weatherhead, Edelmann, and Everco all offer replacements for these special fittings.
According to the manufacturer when using plastic tubing use internal tube support, that is so the compression sleeve squeezes tight against line and then internal tube support for a leak free seal. I'll post additional pictures when I get all the parts together. $1.15 a piece on line for the 1/8" double compression fitting.

 Interesting I have the same one I'd like to re-install. So should the male hose fitting have the internal hose sleeve insert in it like the female does that one would get from Paragon?
Yours looks like the hose is gone unless its just clipped flush, does it have a sleeve insert for the hose what configuration did you use?
What is the proper configuration for the male type hose end?

Have you checked your rear axle pinion angle? It needs to be the same angle as the engine and tranny.

Those numbers look good, just keep an ear open at highway cruise. My 302 would exhibit a slight ping accelerating at cruise (highway speeds 70 mph). So I put a mechanical limiter on the vac can to keep it a max 10 degrees. Hopefully you won't have that issue.

Jeff good job on that eccentric bushing, there is a ring groove on there that you could snap ring it on. Now when that vacuum can is hooked to full manifold vacuum keep ensure you don't have too much total advance at cruise (pinging) if you do you'll need to limit your vac can with a mechanical stop. I have a sun distributor tester so it makes the whole set-up a lot easier.

I stuck an alpine in the glovebox, cut the back out and mounted a bracket inside for front support then added a pass-through infrared remote transmitter. Attached an ipod hookup and the stereo remote are all that's on the center console, two 6X9 JBL's in the back and a center pioneer front replacement speaker nice and neat and the system sounds great.
Original 69AM still in the dash no worky but who cares.

I haven't seen anyone specifically say they sleeve single piston units.

 Did you see the pair of calipers 5463633 dated on ebay, the buy it now of $75 a pair and he has multiple dates.
Mine are too severely pitted for a rebuild they need a sleeve. So these would be a great set if you can figure dates you have/need.

So are the guides drilled out and these new guides added? Also looks like its got scew in studs, what are your plans for rockers the stock "O" rockers?
Those new studs can cause geometry issues if they have the guide locked in the wrong position. I'd try to find a set with original studs (pressed) and no guide work. But thats just me, lots  of extra effort downstream dependant upon what you are doing.
