Dynamotion COPO pics
« on: April 17, 2013, 02:27:07 AM »
I got these cool old pictures from a co-worker who used to work at Dynamotion performance in Suitland, Maryland way back in 1970. The car was a Hugger Orange COPO and it looks like it was recently found. There is a really cool thread about it and a bunch more pics over at Yenko.net.

Great story and documentation on this car. I became aware of it only last week when a guy I currently work aside got to talking about working on a COPO Camaro at a place called Dynamotion performance years ago. Naturally, I asked if there were any pictures and he showed up to work with these three. I asked if I could borrow and scan them and in the process I did a search on the car and came across the thread over at the Supercar forum...I'm not a member there so I didn't post but I wanted to post them here. My co-worker is the guy in the picture under the hood and can talk for days about his time working for Tracy Crozier(co-owner of Dynamotion) and the performance of this Camaro. He even keeps a bent valve from the engine in his tool box.

John.

I just spoke with Brent this evening... Great guy and his car has a fascinating story.
Here are some more pictures I received from my co-worker Mike Garland who you can see sitting in the passenger seat.

Yes, those wheels and tires are the same ones. Trailer belonged to a guy named Byron.
