I was in Benton, AR this afternoon to eval a 69PC.  Weather sucked, it was grey and damp.   Maybe that Dallas weather will head this way.

Good to hear, CT.  I saved a guy a bundle on the PC :)

I would've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, but it was only a 1/2 hour away.

Six cars in three days.......a lot of driving, a lot of typing and a lot of work.

The black 68 Z28 is the real deal.  That is a great car to bring back.  Real RS, cowl plenum early 302 emblem black car.  Only the second one that I have in my data base.

Also did two '69 Z28s built the same exact week (02B) with the same exact engine code, and they are both red!  One X77 and one X33.

More later, I'm staying at the Gaylord Texan Resort.  My racing buddy, Tim Bishop, is here for the National Corn Growers Assoc.  We are sharing a room.  I'm coming home with a J. Deere tractor.........LOL!

Saw some neat stuff and met some great people.  Can't best the hospitality of the Texas folks!

More later,

Jerry

Oh, 57 degrees today!  Big change from 89 yesterday.  Was in Runaway Bay, TX today.

Client today is friends with Tommy Allsup, who was just at the Clear Lake Buddy Holly Weekend and played at the event as we did!  Allsup played guitar for Holly on that ill fated tour.......and was a studio musican at Norman Petty Studios during the late 1950s.  We were 20 miles from Tommy's home.

Small world, music lesson over.

I told Jerry he could just hire me to take care of the Southern region. I wouldn't mind flying out to cool places, ducumenting great cars, and meeting more car guys! Not to mention, shacking up at the Gaylord Texan is far from slumming! I am available!

I've heard that if you really enjoy your job, it's not really a job.  I'm sure Jerry is living the good life.

I'm sure there are a few of us, living through him........

Give me Camaros, food, and great places and I would never come home.
