Title: Recommendation - 1968 Camaro Hubcap Cleaner/Polisher
Post by: gwp4 on July 09, 2023, 12:51:28 AM
Hello First Gen Camaro Owners -

What's the best way to clean original 1968 Camaro hubcaps for judging competition? Is there a recommended cleaner/polisher out there? Many thanks. gwp4

Fyi, on the std PO1 covers used in 68-69 try not to use anything harsh on the black center insert. It will fade out and lose color quickly. I do a light cleaning then get to the stainless on a buffing wheel with a combination of rouges. Nice for a driver. I searched for a full set of boxed NOS covers just to have crisp centers.

Good luck.
