I am an original ownr of my '67 Conv. and always wondered how many Camaros were built with disk brakes. Also my brakes are manual not power.

My Camaro White Book says the J56 option HD disc front and drum rear were rare. Looks like 205 made. The J52 power disc front and drum rear they made 14,899. Not too many made with the manual disc brakes according to the book I have.

HD discs and manual discs are not the same thing.
No way of telling how many manual discs were ordered, but they are not real common.
http://www.camaros.org/suspen.shtml#Brakes has info.

Just to keep this straight to get J56 brakes J50 and J52 had to be ordered. J52 did not include power; the total includes J56 cars.

The Mountain Green 67 Z Survivor that Jon Mello had was a J56 HD brake car...
There were photos of the HD rear shoes on the 67 Z site.

My disk brakes are 4-Piston, are all '67 disk brakes 4-Piston?
