That's good looking but a lot of cabbage.

As an Italian, we say garbanzos :)
Was discussed a little on Yenko. Says tons of papers but nothing shown...Joe
-
If it is all they say that might be a decent starting price. But it seems that to get in that price neighborhood a car needs to be something special which red on black with a few odd options or lack there of does not really do it for me.
-
Endura bumper
tach-center fuel gauge
spoiler
Comfort weave int
RS
Chambered
It looks to be very nicely done.
-
Actually it is not a center fuel guage and has no tach which seems odd but it fits the time. My 08E has RS, comfortweave, the required tach, but no console, no gauges, and the center fuel guage. I agree the car does look nicely done.
-
LOL....Spaced on the tach-fuel gauge.
-
Tach required on a early car?
-
Too early for "Tach required".
-
Tach required on a early car?
Nope.
See this link - then go to footnote 7.

My opinion, they are in la la land on the price or maybe the other side of the moon. :)

My Oct 68 10B Z has no tach, no gauges, no clock. Does have console. VIN516355. My Muncie date is exactly the same, P9P11. Brake booster is also exact 267.
-
Like to see the documentation, states it has the window sticker but on bottom does not list window sticker as documentation included?

My 12A L78 is optioned exactly like your Z Jimmy. My previous statement about the Ebay Z being correct for the time was referring to the fact that although odd one could be ordered like that before the tach was required. I have looked at a one owner 69 Z in NC that had no tach or anything that was not standard on it. The odd thing is when someone springs for several options like RS and upgraded interiors and leave off the tach and gauges of a performance car.
-
Yes, you would think that someone that would order the deluxe interior would also order the console? I wonder how many of these were ordered by the dealers for stock as opposed to the individuals themselves ordering through the dealers?
-
Hard to say. There are some “odd duck” first generation Camaros. Combinations that make you wonder who made the order and wonder what they were thinking. 🤪
-
LOTS of odd cars and combinations out there.
Mine is 10A with no console, no tach or guages or spoilers but it did get (ugly) light green custom interior and optional radio with kick panel speakers.
-
I like it. Nicely done.
Mines a 12D RS with deluxe houndstooth, console and gauges with tach/clock, but no spoilers. Which to me isn't all that unusual.
-
Car was very original with one repaint. Alt and starter aren't original.
Restored now. No WS that I know of, just the invoice, PDI, & POP.
-
This is the typical price point of a Garnet Red car. I thought everyone knew about "resale red" .... ;D

I do!! ;)
-
FWIW, my '67 "Jane" has deluxe interior and no console, column shift originally. Yep. weird.
-
I had to do it...….
-
Charley, is there a new owner or info on the car now?
(where did the new pic come from?)
-
My driveway...…..:-)
-
Congrats!
I can guess you thoroughly went over the car prior to purchase. Was there a window sticker?
Any other surprises, or things you discovered that we were not privy to?
-
It's the color that got him! ;) Remember what they say about red cars and the law enforcement officers!
-
No window sticker. Dealer had taken it in trade from one of his best customers and was confusing window sticker with other purchase paperwork. His other inventory is mostly high end more modern cars. Nice guy.
-
So someone added the clock at one point, but other than that looks pretty original. WTG

My driveway...…..:-)
shocked there's no tire marks on it Charley!
-
I was told from a young age not to raise hell (or leave black marks) in your own neighborhood. But that wasn’t always followed. :)

It’s a Looong driveway! Congrats Charley. That is a beautiful example!

Charley did you have to sell anything to get it ? Do you still have your nice original 70 Z?
-
The 1100 mile 70 Z has been with one of my idiot friends for a few years, I replaced it with the 985 mile 74 Z.
-
Awesome car, congrats!
-
Pic of Z28 when Rick Adkins bought it in 2006 before resto.
-

Purchase contract shows it had a clock.
-
It also came with complete owner history and a couple CD's with over 1000 resto pics. Every screw, nut bolt etc was photographed as it came apart.

Looks like a nice car before the resto....👍. 😉
