Don't let Beyonce hear about it or she'll use it in her next show.

Someone around here in the Portland/Vancouver area had a 67 black panther Camaro clone for sale for a long time around here. I cant remember if it ever actually sold or not. Neat car, not a fan of the gold interior though.

Gorrie's Chev in Toronto did them
-
Yes I have. On the Team Camaro site there are a few threads about them. As stated above Gorrie's did them in Toronto. Known to exist? 3 to 6. Number possible built 15 to 30. None of the ones I have heard of of have the 427 in them. Gorrie's only did them with cars that were black with gold stripes and gold interior. Gorries sold a number of cars with this color combination that were not turned into Black Panthers, hence the lack of total built being vague. There is one near enough to me that I have never seen but I hate cold calling someone about their cars. A guy I work with had a ride in it about 35 years ago, it has a 396. There is one in Sault Ste Marie and another possible in Alberta. A member of TC knows of three others. A very elusive car to find. Another story of 5 black with gold stripe 67 Z's heading down the 401 in 67 on a car hauler (headed who knows where).

The local Chevy dealership here in town sold 2 Black Panthers back in the day.I too have heard about the one car with the 396.He apparently takes it to cruise nights once on a awhile.I believe it originally came with a 327 and he put in the 396.The one from Sault Ste Marie was for sale in Hemmings a few months ago.He wanted $250000 for it.
