Hello Members,
I'm trying to find a source for the gasket that goes in between the master cylinder and the firewall. It is item no. 11, on AIM UPC 5, A2, part no. 3792566. I haven't a clue as to where the original went, but I would want to replace it being 50 years old.
So far no one can tell me where to find one. I'd make one, but I don't know what is the proper material and I don't know how a judge would feel about a home made gasket. I doubt if it would earn me any points.
Thanks everyone,
Buzz

Try ZIP corvette https://www.zip-corvette.com/63-67-c2/brakes/corvette-master-cylinders-components.html

What is left of them usually sticks to the firewall. If you have redone the firewall it is gone.

There IS one there, for $3.99. I just may order it, 'cause chances are - it's the correct one.
Thanks Brian!

OOooh yeah!! The entire body was sandblasted and painted. So if the old one was on the firewall.....it's no longer with us.
Thanks,
