Title: Front bucket seat strap
Post by: jmcbeth on February 02, 2010, 03:47:45 AM
On a 69 Z/28, passenger seat, left side there is a strap between the seat bottom and back that prevents the seat back from striking the dash when tilted forward. Anyone know where you can buy these straps?

Thanks!

John

Pictures of my 68 front bucket seat strap.  The strap and ends are original.  The seat back strap end has pulled out of the connector.  I think I can repair this without to much problem.  As you can see there appears to be split plastic on the seat end of the strap.  I didn't notice until looking at the pictures that there appears to be another sleeve on the end.  I will have to examine this closer to tell if it is just the rest of the plastic or something else.

John, Is your original strap broken or gone?
If you can, add a picture to this discussion:
