Maintenance / Low Fuel Indicator Module

What plugs into the low fuel indicator module in the console. It looks like it is designed to have a bulb pushed into it.
Mine has nothing in the module, and the dash light stays lit all the time regardless of fuel level. The fuel gauge works fine.

Originality / Windshield wiper switch wiring

My 1967 RS/SS Camaro has a grey wire on the wiper switch to ground it. It has a large copper ring terminal on it that slides over the threads before installing the switch into the dash.
Is this original, or did someone add it?
If it is original, where does it connect to to ground the switch? Mine is loose under the dash.
I would think a star washer would ground the switch to the dash and do the job, but I want to leave it original. I cannot find this wire on my wiring diagram.
