Title: 1968 Camaro Base Model - Factory Correct Ignition Coil and Bracket
Post by: gwp4 on March 16, 2022, 04:32:01 AM
Hello First Gen Camaro Owners:

I'm restoring my 1968 base model Camaro CPE with a 327/210 hp, with no a/c, and w/out cowl induction, to its original factory condition for judging competition.  It's not a Z-28, SS or RS.  The assembly date for the car was May 14, 1968 at the Norwood, OH plant.  I'm very interested in learning the correct GM part numbers for the Delco-Remy ignition coil and bracket.  I'd also be very interested in learning the correct factory color for the coil and bracket.  Many thanks.  gwp4

According to Kurt S, your 1968 Camaro with a 327 engine would have had an ignition coil with part number 1115293:
