i have what i believe is a 69' Camaro trunk lid which i intend to sell but i would like to confirm that i am correct. where would i find a part number, markings or date codes on the lid to confirm what i have? i can post some pictures if that would help! thks

If you post some photos that show the inner panel holes and the flange across the rear edge where the outer panel is hemmed over the inner panel, we can probably ID the lid.

I'd say its around a March of 69 trunk lid, its got the 6 weld tabs across the back edge holding the inner panel to the outer, and it also has the 4 large inner panels holes for the Pontiac T/A spoiler. There should be a small stamp in between those two center stiffeners on the inner panel like TA10 which is the sheetmetal run stamp the last 2 digits are the week the sheetmetal was stamped at the assembly plant.

Yup - same lid that's on my original 02D car.

thanks for the help in identifying the trunk lid as an early 69'. It appears to have been originally painted hugger orange before the over painting of the cherry red color.
do you have a sense of value for the deck lid? is Ebay the best place to get it sold? thanks again!
