Title: Tony Adamowicz 1941 - 2016 RIP
Post by: oldtransamdriver on October 11, 2016, 06:01:03 PM
Tony passed recently - had been fighting brain cancer.  He was 68 T/A 2 litre champ in a Porsche 911.
In 66 he raced Darts and the ARA Javelin for Roy Woods in 71. Tony was a prolific racer.  See ultimateracinghistory.com

Until a few years ago had been vintage racing the 69 Eagle F 5000 car he used to drive.
He was an approachable guy - always willing to chat about racing.

Last time I met him at a vintage event, we shared a few laughs about our adventures at the 71 LIme Rock T/A rain race.

Sad news, Robert. His last couple of years had been tough.

I got this autograph from Tony back in '73.
