Talking with Bryan (Bryan302) about exhaust for late Z (see his post re: resonator usage). He says chrome tipped tailpipes are rare. Is there a concensus? Maybe I should have taken better care of these instead of letting them lay in my barn for 20+ years?

There were approximately 65,000 1969 Camaros built after May 19, 1969. Assuming normal distribution that's about 5,400 Z/28s and 9,000 Camaro SS built with chrome tailpipes. They were serviced well into the '80s and are reproduced.

Hmmm...maybe not rare, perhaps scarce? You sure, William, on that Z production, I thought 45,000 were made after that date???lol

You're probably right. A few new ones every month.
Reminds me of the Blockbuster free video coupon deal of many years ago. They redeemed more than they printed.

Bentley if those are rust holes in the one, probably had those before you stored them. So don't feel to bad
