Title: Big Red
Post by: crossboss on July 29, 2021, 05:33:34 PM
I'm watching a series on 'Big Red' penned as "The baddest 1969 Camaro", and I have to agree. RJ's Camaro is an impressive performer in all aspects of competition. What do you think?

That's a great topic for Team Camaro in it's modified category...  doesn't much fit into our original, restored, or even the Trans Am category...  :(

Absolutely correct. That is why I posted in Garage Talk forum. Unfortunately for Big Red, its not legal for any vintage class of racing. It IS perfect for unlimited type of competition, such as The Silver State Classic, Bonneville, The Texas Mile, and the 'Big Bore' road racing events.

Impressive, but I have zero interest in cars like this.

I have always thought the car was cool, because its always neat to see a first gen spank Italian supercars in any form of racing.
