The pic with the hood pins.... Were those available as a factory option? Dealer istalled? Aftermarket?
-
;D I'd say that young gentleman purchased those hood pin's and handy dandy driving lamp's at his local western auto !

Here's another one. This pic was taken on July 6, 1968 - the day my father took delivery of our L30/M20. It had about 10 miles on it at the time.

A lot of drum brakes. My SS has them too.

My brother's car must be the weird one in the bunch....disc brakes and rally wheels! :)
-
Enjoy, only photo I have of my 68 Z28. Taken winter of 1971.

I beleive disc brakes required rally wheels in 67.

I love these old pics - imagine what life was like for the Camaro fan back then. Did you notice in the pic of the young man from Michigan, with the western auto vest and driving lamps (and hood pins) - did you see the head rests on his seats? As much as I love his vest, those head rests are a nice option!

I must have been posting late at night. Hopefully you'll be able t see it now.
Last remaining photo of my lemans blue 68 Z, circa 1972. Notice the professionally installed side pinstripe that was installed by a 17 year old customizer, Me. Also I removed the factory side mirror and replace with those really cool chrome bullet mirrors that used to be on race cars. Added 5mph to the top end!
