I know you 68 guys (Darrell) will be all over this....Just the floor mats alone are going to get you to bid... ;D

Pretty rare color combo originally - rallye green with black deluxe bench.
Has 12 bolt and rear brake valve - wonder what it was originally.

Hey Im diggin' it.. And yeah a very rare color combo originally.. Wonder if the diff is original.?. Leaf springs have been replaced or modified. Also interesting to see the black ash tray cover.. More than likely swapped out at some point since there are several 67 components that have been added to the car.. Could it have been one of the rare floor mounted auto cars..?.. A lot of what if's with that car..

That shifter in it now looks like an old Hurst ratchet shifter.
I had one like that and it shifts like a motorcycle where you have to ratchet through each gear one at a time.
you can't go from drive to park in one shot, had to click it 3 times
-
All it needs is custom shag carpeting.
-
Those were the days! so hard on the eyes. The ash tray is early 68.

Yeah and the car is not..

I get it now, So the ashtray is the straw that broke the camels back on this one?..... ;D
-
No I washed my hands of it when I saw the alt on the wrong side..
-
That car is a real deal, just based on the $cost of the bodywork and paint... :)
-
My eyes are seared, $299 and trip to Macco will fix it.
-
Only way to pull that color off is a big block, tunnel ram, and Moroso's...and Cherry Bombs. Some Sloooww Ryyyda via 8 track. Roach clip feather hanging off the rear view mirror, lol !

roach clip feather....lol

I love these paint schemes, always have. The last few years these old paint schemes (panel paint, lace etc...) have made a come back and are slowly gaining in popularity again. I know of a few cars that were put away in the early 70's only to come back out in the last few years still sporting their psychedelic paint jobs and getting tons of attention.
-
Whatever you think of it, there's no doubt that this car generates reaction.
-
Interesting car. I like the paint. Don't really care for the flares though.
I can't quite read the body number, and I wonder what the rear axle code is....
-
I agree, I'm not a fan of flares on anything and that's what kills it for me on this car. The paint is spot on though. If the rest of the car were done in more of a drag race vibe with big and littles, a tunnel ram etc.. It would be perfect with that paint.
