Are the 15" X 6" & 7" rims the same on both of these cars. Cause I see all these being offered, along with trim rings by Corvette guys. And the trim rings are not notched for the valve stem at the bottom they are closed in, like the SEVEN inch Camaro trim rings. I email the seller and mention this to them and they tell me they are for sure 15" X 6". All the six inch ones I have seen for sale, and even the one at heartbeat has an open bottom for the stem. And they are described six inch. What's the deal, are these rims and rings configured differently? ... Danny

Danny, you are right re the open/closed valve stem holes on the trims for the two sizes/years, but I think the 15x7 trims will *fit* on a 15x6 wheel, although obviously it goes in a lot farther to the inside (rather than the fairly large gap that was designed)...

Nope. 15 x 6 ('67 DC), 15 x 7 ('68 AG), and 15 x 8 ('69-82 AZ) wheels are unique to the Corvette.

And there it is!! So I will have to retain that info in my search. Thanx Johnman... D

John is of course correct! Might be worthwhile to add the 15X6 DC trim ring is the same one used on 69 z/28's but different than the one used on the DF 15X6 wheel.
