Restoration / 67 camaro rear glass
« on: May 18, 2008, 01:11:27 AM »
Help!   I am in need of a clear rear window, date coded, for my 67 camaro. I am on my fourth glass with no luck.  Two were arched wrong and did not fit, the other two fit great, but the glass had staining in the glass. appeared to be between the layers.  Any help would be appreciated.  thanks in advance.  Pete

thanks for the input. the two sets we picked up at carlisle, only two has the three holes in them. someone at carlisle said that was for cooling, I don't think so.  I would believe for balancing before I would believe cooling.  thanks.  Pete

Restoration / camaro two piece rotors
« on: April 27, 2008, 12:59:11 AM »
I read the articles on the two piece rotors posted earlier. I was lucky enough to pick up two sets at spring carlisle this weekend.  Question, is there a difference between the 67's and the ones used on the 68-69 cars.  I was told that the 67's had holes drilled in the hat area to cool the bearings.  Are they interchangable and what do I need for on my 67 restoration project.  thanks Pete

Thanks Paul.  I e-mailed seller to question damages on the rear ones.  Were these aniodized aluminum or stainless?  Don't know if you could polish aniodozed aluminum.  Pete

I am restoring a numbers matching 67 bb camaro. I have seen one car that had what appears to be an anodized aluminum trim that ran along the headliner on both sides from quarter window to windshield. Was this standard with the deluxe interior? Is this available. thanks in advance  Pete

Restoring our 67 camaro, we purchased rivit head bolts for installing the upper ball joints. they look like a rivit, and bolt from under.  We purchased them from "Trim Tag.com"  These were for the "vett"  guys.  Pete
