Okay the Jacks are light gray on 67 68 69, what color is the lug wrench black or matching light gray? Thanks Brian

Black

Another question regarding the lug wrench. How were they packaged in the trunk? Were they attached to the jack mast by some means? I have seen rubber straps or bands in the repro parts catalogs and wondering if they are correct? Anybody have an original picture of jack and accessories?

The assembly manual shows 2 straps about 1 1/2" wide.

My original is black, and still has one of the two wide rubber bands attaching it to the jack column.

Black.
The rubber bands look like 2" of bicycle inner tube, only a few original cars I've seen have these. You can imagine where they went that night you had the first flat.

John, could you please measure the width of that strap. Thanks.

Heartbeat City advertises the straps(NOS)on E-bay periodically and considering the price of everything else he sells they're not that expensive. You could call him and ask if he has any left.

here is one of heartbeatcity's auctions for the straps
