Originality / '69 Driveshaft question

I have read I need a 49 9/16" driveshaft for my '69 with 350/Turbo 350 and 12 bolt.A friend has one 49" and yoke just under 5". Can I use this and change the yoke to one of the 5.5" ones? Thanks

Had to remove the right front fender and skirt, bumper, grille,valance, etc to install A/C box....seems to me it would be easy to remove radiator support,put engine and tranny together on the floor and slide them right in, then put the sheetmetal back on.....chime right in please

Could someone please explain how the 2 wires from the horn buttons on a '69 2 spoke wheel connect to the column? I have a spring and a metal button also.....this car is making me dumb

Originality / Dumb questions about interior rear side panels...

I didn't take my '69 apart so I don't know what missing if anything. Is there anything that attached the rear panel to the car? Right now it just hangs there....are there supposed to be armrests? Hard to believe that the rear seat holds it in by itself.....

Maintenance / '69 blower fan replacement

Could someone tell me the simple way to replace the blower fan? My car was painted and the front end put on without the A/C box and blower fan installed. Chassis manual says pull lower fender out 6"!!!! after loosening the rear skirt bolts. Don't mind spending the time but didn't want to take the fender off unless I had to......thanks guys

Originality / '69 TH350 shifter mounting hardware

There are some big holes in the floor of my car where the shifter gets mounted, about 7/16".....what is the correct hardware? Thanks

Everything that I have bought for my '69, no matter what company made it, I've have to modify the part to fit the car or modify the car so the part fits.....un freakin' believable....Kudos to you guys who's cars look so good.....I can't possibly be the only one going through this crap

Restoration / '69 with A/C heater hose problem...

I just got the heater box inside my '69 with A/C, everything fits well except the lower tube from the heater core is real close to the inner fender. It looks like it's either too long or needs to be bent unless I have the wrong heater core. Any ideas?

I would like to know what is  the original finish for a '69 gas tank and straps......also, is there a book or a website that has all the factory colors and finishes for each part or do I have to post 3,247 questions? Restoration / original A/C installation in a '69

I'm getting a '69 with factory air but the whole system is out of the car...question is, with so many parts to the system, where do you start as far as assembly is concerned? I have AIM but it doesnt specify the order of installation.....also, is there any way to check the original components for proper operation?

On a '69 Camaro, if you swap the TH-350 for a 4 speed, does the shifter fit in the same hole or are modifications necessary?
