well i'm  66,  my camaro sickness started in high school (1973) with a   plum 67 ss 350 4spd. today I'm lucky enough to own 4 first gen camaros. But the best part is teaching my 19 yo grandson about these cars and he loves them. He takes care of his mothers 68 rs convt. so he kinda has a camaro.  He likes my 67 L78 and he will likely get that car when I can't push the clutch in any more. When he visits I let him  drive them all. Then he doesn't know which one he wants. His first two vehicles have been 5 spd's

you can unbolt the header panel off the fender and if its the orig one or never been stripped It will have the stripe rolling down on the end about  1/8"-3/16

Originality / Re: 67 l78 fuelline pump to carb
« on: February 28, 2020, 09:07:41 PM »
the correct part # is FPC67WK A  but last I heard they lost their pattern and couldn't make them any more. They still cant make it 100%. The bend coming out of the fuel pump is not correct  the machines today cant make it. They made a couple for me last year. Most people will never know the difference

If the orig header panel  is on the car and hasn't been off  you can loosen it away from the fender and look on the end. Orig. stripes wrapped around the end of the header panel. I have a base model 68 that had the stripe
