68 Camaro with Paint code as --- (Currently painted Orange) has a 350 Engine with an odd suffix as follows:
18L329988 V0117M.
Any ideas on this Engine number - code?
Thanks.

Can you post a picture of the pad?

See image attached.

Difficult to tell from that pic. I asked for a better one.

It's not odd, it's just missing the last letter or it's stamped real light.
Everything else looks good on the pad, does the VIN match the car? does it have 12 bolt rear? ratio? date? type of transmission?
Are you sure it's a 350? casting number? forged crank?

I'd also like to see a picture of the trim tag and of the orange paint. Preferably from an area on the car that doesn't typically get repainted. WAAAAY too early to speculate, but it "could" be another DANA ORANGE (http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8484.0;all) car!

Strange ad; domain name is the UK but contact phone numbers provided are in the state of Victoria here in Australia.....

If you do a Google search on the VIN (124378L329988) you'll find that this car's all over the place! The UK. Australia, even Russia!!

I looked, there is an assembly date stamp visible but I didn’t see a partial VIN.
