Title: Odd engine suffix
Post by: Piston.Broke on April 08, 2020, 04:43:27 AM: 68 Camaro with Paint code as --- (Currently painted Orange) has a 350 Engine with an odd suffix as follows:
18L329988 V0117M.

Any ideas on this Engine number - code?

Everything else looks good on the pad, does the VIN match the car? does it have 12 bolt rear? ratio? date? type of transmission?

Are you sure it's a 350? casting number? forged crank?

WAAAAY too early to speculate, but it "could" be another DANA ORANGE (http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8484.0;all) car!

I looked, there is an assembly date stamp visible but I didn’t see a partial VIN.
