Title: Trunk/ spare tire screwdriver Part number 3798116
Post by: ovaltrack on May 02, 2022, 03:22:42 PM
On page 377 and 378 in the assembly manual for the 67 camaro it shows a screwdriver # 3798116 to be installed with the jack base. Does anyone have a picture or know what this looks like ?

Good forum article about this "very rare" screwdriver:

If not mistaken, it was stated in a recent discussion on here that the screwdriver was deleted from the parts list by End of December 1966. If this is the case no L78 would have had a screwdriver.

It's like the hard top wrenches for 2 top vettes, they nearly always get away from the car especially because they are not Chevrolet branded or marked & once separated they are very unlikely to ever make it back to the car. Most any mechanic is going to make sure they do not leave tools in the vehicle they are servicing & away it goes.
